Sam specializes in commercial, civil, and real estate litigation. He provides strategic legal counsel to property owners, developers, and investors across all aspects of real estate transactions and disputes, including acquisition, development, financing, leasing, evictions, specific performance, and collections. Sam’s expertise extends to working alongside commercial landlords, including entities such as The Rockefeller Group, as well as national and multinational corporations such as Dollar General and Samsung Austin Semiconductor. His deep understanding of real estate law enables him to effectively safeguard the rights and interests of his clients, regardless of the size or complexity of their portfolios.
In addition to real estate, Sam represents clients in legal proceedings before both state and federal courts. He regularly defends clients against claims brought by private individuals and governmental entities, including the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Division of Civil Rights, for alleged violations of the Fair Housing Act and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, and his litigation experience also includes successfully prosecuting and defending claims involving allegations of unconscionable business practices and violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. Sam’s litigation experience also includes representing municipalities in federal court against claims of constitutional violations, as well as corporations in federal court under diversity jurisdiction. His ability to navigate complex regulatory and statutory frameworks makes him a trusted advocate for both private and public sector clients.
Beyond litigation, Sam has a strong focus on business dispute resolution. Recognizing the financial and operational burdens of protracted legal battles, he collaborates closely with his clients to explore all possible avenues for favorable resolution before initiating formal litigation.
